Natural lakes in Macedonia

WELCOME TO OUR SITE

In this site we are going to show the natural lakes in our small but beatiful country Macedonia. Macedonia is a small country in the Southeast Europe, in the midlle of the Balkan Peninsula, the capital of the country is the City of Skopje also its the biggest city in Macedonia. In the articles that are going to follow we will show complete view of our three biggest natural lakes ( texts for the origin, the flora and fauna and for the neabay historical monuments ), Lake Ohrid, Lake Prespa and Lake Dojran and a  word or two for the mountain lakes. Also we will show the nearbay towns, near lake Ohrid the two cities Ohrid and Struga, near lake Prespa the town of Resen and the small tourist settlement Otesevo, near lake Dojran the urban area Dojran and their landmarks, a link to the sites of the best hotels and private apartments if you need a place to stay and other useful information.
